What is a Chef?
A Chef is an individual, who has formal training from and Institute or Culinary Academy. Our Chefs are required to have several years of working experience in up scale restaurants or private homes.
What is a Cook?
A Cook is an individual who has a gift for cooking, and has worked professionally in up scale restaurants or private homes. Our Cooks are required to have several years of experience and excellent references.
Duties for Chefs and Cooks:
- Preparation of family meals
- Creating menus
- Adhering to special diets
- Helping client with weight loss
- Shopping for groceries
- Organizing and cleaning of the kitchen
- Cooking for parties and Special events
- Formal Serving for small intimate parties
- Table setting and clean up
- Maintaining food pantry and inventory stocked at all times.
- Will work some holidays when required, evenings and weekends.
- Clean up of kitchen
Salaries will vary depending on skills and work experience
